Spectator Writers’ Dinner with Melissa Kite | Wednesday 13 May | 6.30 for 7pm
Join us in the boardroom for the next in our series of Spectator Writers’ Dinners with Melissa Kite, The Spectator’s Real Life columnist. Melissa's weekly dispatches from the front line of middle England quickly became one of the most popular columns in the magazine when she began writing them in 2006. She is the former deputy political editor of the Sunday Telegraph and is author of several books including a novel, The Girl Who Couldn't Stop Arguing, and a memoir, The Art of Not Having It All.
Melissa will chat to features editor William Moore about the mad world of political journalism, her lifelong fight against our bureaucratic overlords and the perils of trying to run a country house Airbnb in West Cork. Do join them for a fine four-course dinner with wines supplied by Château Léoube.
N.b. Our boardroom events are always relaxed, informal and intimate with no more than 18 people around the table... do join us at 22 Old Queen St. SW1. Nearest tube St James' Park or Westminster.
