Spectator Wine School — Bordeaux Masterclass | Thursday 8 May, 6 – 7:30pm | The Vineyard, Stockcross, Newbury, Berkshire

There’s nowhere to touch Bordeaux for prestige and we are in for a treat as Laura Taylor – director of our partners Private Cellar and regular visitor to the region as she completes her Master of Wine exams – guides us from Left Bank, where Cabernet is king, to Right Bank, where Merlot reigns. We will taste reds, dry whites and sweet whites and discuss how best to buy en primeur.

The Vineyard is the perfect location to host our next Spectator Wine School ‘Away’ event. The tasting itself will be held in their beautiful California Bar which boasts a bespoke mural telling the tale of the infamous battle between French and California Wine which later became known as The Judgement of Paris.
