Spectator Quiz Night, Thursday 29 May | 6.30 – 8pm | Spectator Garden
We are inviting readers to join us in The Spectator’s garden (home of the renowned Spectator Summer Party) for a series of friendly, fun and informative events this summer.
‘Elvis Presley disliked being called “the King” because he felt the title belonged to someone else. Who was that person?’ That's the type of question you can expect from a Spectator quiz night. Host Mark Mason (who also writes quizzes for the Spectator pocket diary each year) crafts original questions that aren’t just a test of general knowledge but are fun to work out. Teams will be of six (you can book individually and we’ll match you up) and each table will be joined by a Spectator writer (brainpower may vary, but is always formidable). Drinks and nibbles provided.
Oh, and the Elvis answer? Jesus Christ.
