Spectator Quiz Night Thursday 29 May | 6.30 – 8pm | Spectator Garden
Part of Spectator Summer Sessions
‘Elvis Presley disliked being called “the King”, because he felt the title belonged to someone else. Who was that person?’ You wouldn’t expect a bog-standard quiz from the Spectator - and nor will get you get one. No tedious questions like ‘what’s the capital of Albania?’, which either you know or you don’t. Quiz host (and Spectator writer) Mark Mason crafts questions that are fun to work out - like the Elvis one, and the ones he writes for the Spectator pocket diary each year. Teams will be of six - you can book individually & we’ll match you up, and each table will be joined by a Spectator writer (brainpower may vary, but is always formidable). Drinks and nibbles provided.
Oh - the Elvis answer? Jesus Christ.
