Secrets of Mayfair, A Spectator Guided Walk, Saturday 20 June, 3-5pm

Following the sell-out success of our previous walks, Spectator writer Mark Mason returns to explore the hidden delights of Mayfair. We’ll learn what Michael Caine said to the Queen, what a Claridge’s telephonist said to a caller and what the Duke of Westminster said to a journalist. We’ll see (literally) where the Beatles lived together, where Henry Moore left some sculptures that no one notices and how Bentley fight counterfeiters. There’ll be stories about James Bond, Alec Guinness, the SAS and a whole lot more. Keeping with Spectator tradition, we’ll end up in a pub.
