Kumeu River is arguably the finest of all New Zealand wineries, famed for its remarkable Chardonnays. Spectator drinks editor Jonathan Ray has been smitten by the Brajkovich family’s wines ever since he visited the estate 20 years ago and featured it in his book Bloodlines & Grapevines. He couldn’t be more excited as he welcomes marketing director Paul Brajkovich to the boardroom to present and discuss over dinner a carefully selected single vineyard and estate aged Chardonnays, alongside the newly released 2025s. These are truly world class wines to rival anything found in Burgundy or beyond.
