Danbury Ridge in the Crouch Valley, Essex, is an extraordinary winery, producing what many believe to be these islands’ finest Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, serious, complex and enticing.
Head winemaker, Liam Idzikowski, will join us for a very special lunch hosted by Henry Jeffreys, ever popular Spectator contributor and author of the best-selling Vines in a Cold Climate: The People Behind the English Wine RevolutionLiam and Henry will discuss the state of English wine today and why Essex is one of the world’s most exciting new wine regions, while presenting a line-up that includes Danbury’s outstanding sparkling wines, single-vineyard Chardonnays, and two vintages of the flagship Estate Pinot Noir.
