Founded in 1776, Boekenhoutskloof is one of the most celebrated – and least easily spelt or pronounced – names of Franschhoek, South Africa (it was Platter's 2020 Winery of the Year). We’re delighted to welcome head winemaker Gottfried Mocke to the boardroom to present a number of new releases and back vintages of the Seven Chairs Cabernet, Semillon and Syrah and the fabled Chocolate Block. With projects and vineyards, too, in Stellenbosch, Swartland and the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, these are exciting times for Boekenhoutskloof, and Gottfried has much to tell us.
