A Migration Map of the British Golden Goose

The Spectator is pleased to present A Migration Map of the Increasingly Lesser-Spotted British Golden Goose, a new limited-edition print by J. G. Fox.

As Britain’s Golden Geese take flight in search of more welcoming shores, this illustrated map follows them to their favourite nesting grounds around the world. From Monaco and Switzerland to Dubai, Singapore and America, each destination offers its own attractions, whether better weather, lower taxes, good security or simply a decent round of golf.

The map also includes a spotter’s guide to some of the other native species now commonly observed abroad, among them the Trust Fund Gosling, the Red-trousered Inheritor, the Greater Crested Founder and the Bald Patriotic Expat.
Drawn in the tradition of the great British pictorial mapmakers, the print combines cartography, caricature and plenty of small details to discover.

Printed at A1 size (59.4 x 84.1 cm or 23.4 x 33.1 inches) as a fine art print on etching paper, the edition is limited to 50 copies, each individually signed and numbered by the artist.

About the artist

J. G. Fox is a London-based artist, and regular contributor to The Spectator. His work is already held in notable private collections, including that of King Charles III.
