Following the riotous success of many previous Spectator Wine Club BYOB lunches, we are delighted once more to invite readers to our boardroom with a treasured bottle to share with like-minded folk. As it’s Christmas, drinks editor Jonathan Ray will throw caution to the wind and delve deep into the Spectator cellar to provide an aperitif of Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle en magnum to kick start proceedings. Previous BYOB’ers have shared some amazing bottles but ultimately the wines don’t have to be grand – they simply must have a fine story to tell. We promise there will be no shortage of vino and to sprinkle a little bit of editorial stardust over proceedings, we will invite a few writers down to share a glass here and there.
