Winemaker’s Lunch with Chapoutier - Friday 23 November
Join us in the Spectator boardroom on Friday 23 November 2018 for the next in our series of Spectator Winemaker Lunches with Justin Liddle from one of the Rhône Valley’s leading producers: Maison M. Chapoutier.
Everyone loves Chapoutier’s wines and with good reason, for they are of the highest quality and always extremely fairly priced (as those readers who are taking advantage of our offer with Mr Wheeler will attest). The company makes wine throughout the Rhône Valley and, during a four-course, cold lunch provided by Forman & Field, Justin will present a mouth-watering selection of bottles.
These will include the 2012 La Muse de Wagner sparkling Brut from St Péray, the 2016 Combe Pilate Viognier, the 2015 Saint Joseph Granalites Blanc, the 2016 Bila Haut Occultum Lapidem Côtes du Roussillon-Village (en magnum), the 2016 Côte Rôtie Les Becasses and, finally, the delectable sweet, red 2015 Bila Haut Banyuls.
This lunch promises to give the perfect snapshot of both region and producer and we suggest you book now to avoid disappointment.
