Winemaker Dinner with Hamilton Russell - Thursday 5 March
Join us in the glorious surroundings of the Rex Whistler Restaurant at Tate Britain on Thursday 5 March for a very special dinner with Anthony Hamilton Russell, producer of South Africa’s finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (and certainly the most ‘Burgundian’) in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Walker Bay.
These are exciting times for South African winemakers and Anthony will chat about the current state of play in the Cape as he introduces his exceptional 2018 Hamilton Russell Chardonnay and 2018 Hamilton Russell Pinot Noir along with superb wines from his other estates, namely the 2019 Southern Right Sauvignon Blanc, the 2018 Southern Right Pinotage, the 2018 Ashbourne Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay, the 2018 Ashbourne Pinotage/Cinsault and the 2016 Ashbourne Pinotage.
Always eloquent and often outspoken, Anthony and his wife Olive will happily answer guests’ questions over a delicious three-course dinner and, for those lucky enough to attend, a limited number of wines will be available for purchase on the night for later delivery.
This dinner promises to be hugely popular so do book promptly to avoid disappointment.
