A veteran of Live at the Apollo, the Edinburgh Festival, GB News and winner of Celebrity Mastermind, Simon Evans (‘a very funny man’, Rod Liddle), needs little introduction to Spectator readers. One of comedy’s vanishingly rare right-wing voices, Simon is famously ‘un-woke’ (in his words, ‘Scrutonian with after notes of Mencken, Chesterton and perhaps even Schopenhauer’) and never less than hilarious and this fine dinner in his company, fuelled by Tipplemill Gin cocktails, Craggy Range wines and digestifs of Delamain Pale & Dry XO Cognac, promises to be hugely entertaining.
