The highlight of many readers’ calendars is the wine-soaked festive lunch hosted by The Spectator’s business editor, Martin Vander Weyer. This year we’ll be lunching at his favourite club – Le Beaujolais, the fabled French outpost in Covent Garden. Fresh from his annual run as a pantomime Dame, MVW will reflect on 33 years at the magazine and his other life as a poet and stage performer as we enjoy some exceptional Beaujolais Blanc, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie, Morgon and Régnié, especially chosen by drinks editor Jonathan Ray and kindly sponsored by Inter Beaujolais.
