Join us for a fascinating exploration of the Square Mile with Spectator writer Mark Mason, whose book Walk the Lines saw him strolling the entire London Underground system, overground.

We’ll discover the clever way someone broke into the vaults of the Bank of England, why Sir Christopher Wren smuggled a pineapple past Charles II (it’s there to this day), how a footballer used Tower 42 as part of his training regime, and where you can see a tiny sculpture commemorating a fight between two workmen. What’s more, we’ll finish up at a legendary City pub, where the revelations will continue over drinks should you wish to stay.
