A Young Person’s Guide to Wine | 8 October| 6 – 8pm | Spectator Boardroom

Worried that you don’t know your Bordeaux from your Barolo, your Riesling from your Rhône? Worry no more. Come and join Master of Wine Matthew Hemming as he guides you step by step, glass in hand, into the world of fine wine. There’ll be no room for wine snobs or wine bores here as we enjoy six or so wonderful wines from the great regions in genial company, with no query or question too basic or silly to be answered. Matthew will share his stories of wine travel, give advice on food pairing, discuss clever ordering in restaurants and touch on the world of luxury and investing.

This fun and friendly masterclass is aimed at the under 35s, but if you’d like to bring a chum from a different generation or a son, daughter, god/grandchild etc., then you are most welcome.
