Join The Spectator’s Cindy Yu for a floristry evening in celebration of Belgravia in Bloom - Thursday 26 May 2022, 6.00p.m. to 7.00p.m.

Celebrate Belgravia in Bloom with Spectator broadcast editor Cindy Yu at an evening of wine and flower arranging, sponsored by Maison Mirabeau.

The return of Belgravia in Bloom this spring will see the London neighbourhood transformed with a series of spectacular flower installations, unique displays and experiences. This year’s theme is ‘Beautifully British’ to tie in with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Moyses Stevens, one of London’s oldest florists and creators of bespoke bouquets since 1876, will be producing magnificent sculptural pieces not to be missed. This fabulous workshop is a playful take on its  flower installation, Beautifully British Teacups and Pouring Tea, with guests learning how to create their own Beautifully British flowers in a teapot centrepiece.

During the workshop, you will learn the techniques of foam free vase arrangement. The class will explain which flowers and foliage to select for your centrepiece and how to prepare them. Guiding you through every step of the process, Moyses Stevens will discuss current floristry trends and styles, teaching you tips and tricks from the floral industry to get the full potential from your flowers.

Guests will leave the workshop with their flower teapot centrepiece.

The workshop will take place on Thursday 26 May at Wild by Tart in Eccleston Yards, with the masterclass and Mirabeau La Folie sparkling rosé from 6-7pm.
