Join us in the Spectator boardroom on Friday 23 March for a very special Spectator Gin-Makers’ Lunch with the founders/distillers of three fascinating award-winning gins: Nick Radclyffe of Foxdenton Gin, Matthew Russell of Copper Rivet Distillery’s Dockyard Gin and Jonathan Ray (the Spectator’s drinks editor) of Brighton Gin.

Foxdenton is famed for its powerful, Negroni-perfect 48% Gin; Copper Rivet for its re-invigoration of Chatham's Dockyard area and for its 'grain to glass' philosophy and Brighton Gin for being distilled beside the seaside by gin lovers and free thinkers for good time boys and girls everywhere. A selection of cocktails and gins and tonic and sipping gin will be served as our gin-makers discuss their respective gins.

Jonathan will also introduce a number of fine wines from Villa Maria – New Zealand’s most awarded winery – as guests enjoy a fine post-gin four course cold lunch provided by our partners Forman & Field. These will include the 2017 Villa Maria Reserve Clifford Bay Sauvignon Blanc, the 2016 Villa Maria Single Vineyard Keltern Chardonnay, the 2016 Villa Maria Cellar Selection Pinot Noir and the 2013 Villa Maria Reserve Gimblett Gravels Merlot. A selection of Foxdenton fruit gins will be served with coffee.

This promises to be a fascinating and hugely enjoyable occasion, so book now to avoid disappointment.
